Wildflower Villa by Somytara is an award-winning ultra-luxury villa renovation in Dubai’s Jumeirah Golf Estates, recognized as a Winner at the 2026–2027 Arabia Property Awards, part of the International Property Awards. A traditional Mediterranean villa was radically reimagined as a contemporary architectural residence while retaining its principal structural framework. Wildflower began with an unusual challenge: to transform an existing Mediterranean-style villa into a completely new contemporary residence without fundamentally rebuilding its structural framework. Rather than replacing the house, Somytara preserved what was worth retaining and reimagined everything around it — its architecture, interiors, landscape and the way the home opens towards its surroundings.
The resulting design was selected for its refined yet expressive character: a composition of flowing forms, sculptural volumes and layered architectural elements conceived to deliver a genuine sense of arrival.

Set within Jumeirah Golf Estates, one of Dubai’s established residential golf destinations, the villa is surrounded by landscaped greenery and water. The community itself is arranged around the championship Earth and Fire golf courses, creating a setting in which architecture and landscape become inseparable.
At the entrance, a large decorative water feature and landscaping establish the first impression of the residence. Beyond the threshold, the house immediately opens towards the golf course, creating a long visual connection through the interiors to the private courtyard beyond.
Across approximately 2,267 sqm, four levels and seven bedrooms, the internal programme is designed equally for permanent living and private leisure. Expansive living spaces and master suites are joined by a bar, private cinema, gym, VR and games room and a complete wellness environment with hammam, sauna, jacuzzi, massage room and salt room.
The courtyard forms the social heart of the residence. A 26.5-metre infinity pool overlooking the golf course is complemented by fireplace and grill areas, terraces and landscaped outdoor spaces, allowing the interior to extend naturally into the garden.
Travertine, marble, basalt, copper and other natural stone and metal finishes create a restrained yet tactile material language. Rather than relying on ornament, the architecture derives its character from proportion, texture, light and precision.
Comfort is supported by high-performance glazing, thermal insulation, architectural shading, efficient HVAC, smart controls and LED lighting — technical systems designed to remain almost invisible within the experience of the house.
